youth choir

4th - 8th grade students are invited to sing in the Youth Choir.

 

 

Attendance is required to thoroughly learn each song!

Rehearsals are the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 6:00 – 6:50 p.m., in the choir room at the main campus of the church. 

The choir sings for the 9am Mass every 2nd Sunday of the month.

Parent Involvement

Rehearsals will be held in the choir room this year, and space is limited. Parents may wait in the Sanctuary or return to pick up the child by 6:50pm. Parent (or other adult) involvement is welcomed, so please feel free to volunteer. St. Matthew is committed to providing a safe environment for all members of our faith community, especially children and vulnerable adults. All parish volunteers must be in compliance with the Diocese of Charlotte Safe Environment policies listed on the St. Matthew website at http://stmatthewcatholic.org under "Safe Environment" at the bottom left of the Home Page.

We will communicate in person before/after rehearsals, through email, and through this Children's Choir website.
